Welcome from the Principal

A warm welcome to Ingle Farm Primary School. As a values-driven learning community, we invite you to explore our diverse curriculum opportunities and celebrate the achievements of our students. Our school Vision is ‘Inclusion of every voice to unite, innovate and exceed’.

At Ingle Farm Primary, our core values; Respect, Honesty, and Persistence - are embedded in every aspect of school life.

We are committed to an inclusive, caring and supportive learning environment where every student is valued as an individual. Our staff work collaboratively, guided by our School Learning Plan, to create self-regulated learners who are equipped with the skills and strategies needed for lifelong learning and success.

We take pride in celebrating difference, embracing diversity and working together. Our school offers a unique range of learning opportunities, catering for Primary students from Reception to Year 6.

Our school structure includes:

  • A Primary Sector, Reception to Year 6 students
  • The Intensive English Language Program (IELP) provides intensive English language support for students from 5 to 12 years of age with specialist teachers of English, as an additional language or dialect
  • Our regional Specialised Education Options classes cater for students from Reception to Year 6. Our regional Speech and Language Class cater for students from Reception to Year 2

We understand the richness that comes from the diversity of cultures, languages, and experiences within our community. This diversity inspires knowledge, mutual respect and a strong sense of belonging. Located in Adelaide’s northern suburbs, Ingle Farm Primary offers families the security of an established, structured curriculum coupled with dynamic and innovative educational approaches.

Our highly skilled and professional staff are dedicated to supporting every learner to set goals, reflect, and persist in their learning journey. We encourage our students to act with honesty, show respect for themselves and others, and to demonstrate persistence in achieving their personal best. Through a focus on evidence-based teaching and a commitment to professional growth, our staff ensure that students are engaged, challenged and supported to thrive—both academically and as compassionate, responsible citizens.

Our approach is centred on developing critical thinking, social responsibility, and the resilience needed to flourish in a changing world. We empower students with opportunities for decision making and leadership, promoting integrity, empathy and respect for differences.

Strong partnerships with our Governing Council, families, and local community enrich our school spirit and strengthen the positive relationships we value so highly. Our unique setting is further enhanced by our connection with The Ingle Farm Children’s Centre and The Family Zone, providing holistic support for families and students.

We encourage you to connect with us—whether to read our site context statement, improvement plan or annual report—or to arrange a school tour to see how our values and strategy shape every learner’s success.

Warm Regards,
