Canteen Announcement
To the Community members of Ingle Farm Primary,
It is with great pleasure that we are writing to introduce ourselves as the new canteen occupants for your site; as we were successful in our application. We are a family owned bakery located in Tea Tree Gully and are excited to expand our business to an on site school café that we will now refer to as Pie Time at the Farm.
The partnership between us will benefit not only the dietary needs of your community members (students, staff, parents) but also visitors to your site, with a portion of sales going directly back to your school.
We would like to sincerely thank all community members who completed our recent survey, this collated information has helped us format our new menu which is complete and will be ready for you to access day one, term 3.
How to order…
Ordering is to be completed using the Qkr app with an 8:30am cut off.
If you do not have a Qkr app please refer to the instructions that are available on the school website, Seasaw app or there is hard copy in each classroom for you to access. We understand that there will be a transition period before everyone has the app and has adjusted to the new system of ordering. In the meantime, if you do not have a Qkr app please go to the canteen before 8:30am to order.
When ordering you will notice that there will be different menus for students and staff/visitors. (Staff only will have access to a catering menu for special events). In the classroom the blue lunch crates have been replaced with 2 cooler bags; one red and one blue. On Monday 20th July, teachers will need to send students to collect the lunch orders that will be in the cooler bags. Each morning from then on, both bags will need to be sent to the canteen by students as soon as possible (no lunch orders should be in them).
Throughout the remainder of the year we will be running fortnightly specials, so stay tuned. We will also be hosting special event days e.g. Sports Day Menu. Opening hours will be from 7:30 to 3:30pm, Monday to Friday. Staff/parents/visitors are welcome to utilise the canteen at any time throughout the day. During lunch and recess times, service to students will be a priority.
We would like to acknowledge and sincerely thank all the hard work that IFPS staff have been doing along with Pie Time staff to get the canteen ready to reopen on Monday 20th July.
We are all excited with the new look and we at Pie Time look so forward to being part of your school community.
Kind regards, Cherie and Bruce (Pie Time on the Farm Owners)
