Technologies

This learning area engages students in critical and creative thinking to create solutions to complex problems. Technologies aims to impact on the lives of people and societies globally.

The Australian Curriculum describes Technologies as two separate but relatable subjects:

Design and Technologies: Students critically analyse and creatively respond to design challenges. They consider the impacts on technological change and use design thinking to generate solutions for authentic problems.

Digital Technologies: Students use computational and systems thinking to problem-solve needs to shape our future. They develop skills to become innovative creators and users of digital solutions as global citizens.
